Writers / Artists: Par Holman

Chris Bors organized this alphabet-themed project where every page represented a different letter.
Red ink on orange stock.

Nice collection of some of David Miller's covers, gag cartoons and comics originally published in other Comix World minis.
It seems there are two different covers and I'm not entirely sure whether or not they're both from the same edition. Both have Holman covers (with David Miller's Bob Goblin character) but one includes a caricature of Miller and the other doesn't. The one that doesn't has no indicia or other info regarding the printing (except for the Comix World indication on the cover).

A couple of the strips are on the theme of "whatever happened to the hippies?".

Highlights include Hardman's comic in which Superman pulverizes Lex Luthor for his randy talk about Lois Lane.

Contains the classic fake news headline by Holman: "Newave Artist Drinks Ink! Inks With Dink!"

Unstapled, untrimmed issue that unfolds to an 8½ × 11" mini poster by Jim Valentino that's titled "2017: Clay's Den" and depicts Clay Geerdes, Par Holman, Brad Foster, David Miller and Valentino as old men discussing the "Babyfat #5000 comin' up soon".
Published in 1987 or '88?

What Is This Site?
A virtual archive of mini-comics, fanzines, small press comics, newave comix and related items. The physical archive, housed at PF headquarters, is being built with personal acquisitions as well as generous donations from supporters. This project is most definitely a work in progress.
