"Todd Estes' The Comicol Monthly was published in Alabama. The Comic Collector's Journal was a sister publication from Mississippi. They were both part of the Sharp Publishing Co-op. Also a member of something called Operation: Comic Shield, a sponsor of the USS Elmer Montgomery, then stationed in the Persian Gulf."
