The bulk of this issue is an exhaustive index to the first 400 issues of Alan Light's The Buyer's Guide for Comic Fandom. Other features include a tribute to Steve Ditko, "Is Publisher Greed Killing the Comic Book Industry?", commentary on The Comics Journal's "anti-superhero bias", and "Paperbacks, the Unsung Collectible".
1st printing: July 2002
2nd printing: April 2003
Reprints illustrations created by Frank Frazetta for Canaveral Press hardbacks, and Ace paperbacks, and includes some Edgar Rice Burroughs-themed drawings, and a Buster Crabbe illustration reprinted from Witzend #1.
Twenty-six one-sided, black and white pages.
No date of publication (circa 1970), and no indication of who published it. It appears to be a bootleg, but it’s also been said that it was published by Russ Cochran.
Followed by More Magic of Frank Frazetta.
This was the last release of 1980 run of Major Mishap. Full color covers penciled by Jim Valentino, airbrushed by Brad W. Foster, Quark I & II by Foster, original strips by Tamsula, Mishaps by Adams, Ryan and great art by everyone. This never actually got released and Blue Moon Productions collapsed under its own weight.
Facsimile copies do exist (produced circa 2010, I believe). [Rb]

What Is This Site?
A virtual archive of mini-comics, fanzines, small press comics, newave comix and related items. The physical archive, housed at PF headquarters, is being built with personal acquisitions as well as generous donations from supporters. This project is most definitely a work in progress.
